Business & Transfer

The transfer office connects TU Eisenfeld's research and teaching with industrial practice: from joint research projects and in-company theses to spin-offs and tailored executive education. Initial consultations for companies are free of charge.

Research cooperation and contract research

Companies work with the university's research groups in joint projects, publicly funded consortia or direct contract research — from feasibility study to prototype. Focus areas are robotics and automation, trustworthy AI, embedded systems, energy grids and digital business models. The transfer office settles contracts, intellectual property and publication rules up front.

Career service and recruiting

The career service places internships, working-student positions and in-company theses, and supports graduates entering the profession. Companies reach students through the job portal, company talks in the public lecture series and the annual digital career day. Industry-linked theses are academically supervised by a professor.

Spin-offs and start-ups

Students, doctoral researchers and staff interested in founding receive support from first idea to spin-off: business-model development, IP strategy, public funding (including EXIST) and access to the network of mentors and investors. University technologies can be transferred into the spin-off through licensing or equity models.

Executive education for companies

The university's portfolio yields tailored executive-education formats for companies: certificate courses on robotics, AI in operations, cybersecurity and digital transformation — online, part-time and, on request, with company-specific case studies. The formats conclude with a university certificate.
